Former Titan At the Forefront of Beaver T&F Revival
2008 WSHS grad Jordan Bishop, the 2008 6A state LJ champion, has made a dramatic return to the sport of Track & Field
after clearing the 7 foot barrier (7-0 1/2) to win the afternoon section of the High Jump at the Husky Indoor Classic on
Feb. 13th. His efforts, along with the efforts of 5 other football players, are giving Beaver faithful hope that a men's Track & Field
program (which was dropped in the 1980's) can be reinstated somewhere down the road. Read the article at

Scratch One!
Scratch one record from the WSHS Track & Field record book as Titan senior Kristin Stombaugh launches the javelin 118-7 in
the 2009 season opener at South Salem on March 18th. Stombaugh's new mark breaks the previous mark of 114-8 set by Kristi
Larson in 2007 and leaves her #1 on the 2009 CVC list.
